Encore Bank names Michael Hallmark as regional president in Northeast Arkansas
Michael Hallmark has been named Executive Vice President and Regional President for Northeast Arkansas for Encore Bank of Little Rock.
Hallmark, a native of Pocahontas, has an extensive 17-year banking career with experience in retail, treasury management & commercial relationship management. He is a current member of Jonesboro Unlimited with the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, past President of Jonesboro Young Professionals, past President and board member of United Way of Northeast Arkansas, and board member of NEA Baptist Community Foundation.
Hallmark is a graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he earned a degree in Pre-Professional Biological Sciences.

Encore Bank opened in 1997 as Capital Bank and recently rebranded under its new name.
Today, the bank has assets of $242 million and is in the process of raising $50 million in new capital from five core markets into which they want to expand. Outside of the central Arkansas base, those markets include Northeast Arkansas (notably Jonesboro), Northwest Arkansas (starting in Rogers), Dallas and Nashville.
