Forty Under 40 luncheon to feature alumni panel
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s 23rd annual Forty Under 40 luncheon is scheduled for Aug. 19 at Embassy Suites in Rogers. Intrust Bank sponsors the event.
This year’s luncheon will feature a different format. Rather than a keynote speaker, Talk Business & Politics CEO and editor-in-chief Roby Brock will lead a roundtable discussion with three alumni of the Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 program.
Panelists this year include:
- Eddie Armstrong (2005), a former Tyson Foods lobbyist and minority leader in the Arkansas House of Representatives. Armstrong is CEO and founding partner of Cannabis Capital Group, a consulting advisory firm in Chicago that focuses on the responsibility of medical cannabis;
- Brock Hoskins (1999), board chairman and president of Garver, the largest engineering, planning, architectural and environmental services firm in Arkansas. Hoskins works from the North Little Rock-based company’s Fayetteville office;
- Missy Kincaid (2004), Northwest Arkansas development director for the nonprofit group Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. Kincaid previously spent 18 years as vice president of development at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.
Beginning in 1997, the Business Journal has annually honored 40 outstanding professionals under the age of 40. Honorees live and work in the six-county coverage area of Benton, Washington, Carroll, Madison, Sebastian and Crawford counties. They were nominated as best in class by their peers in all industries.
