Connections: Chung Tan leaves Fayetteville chamber for position with city
Chung Tan has been hired by the city of Fayetteville as business development manager for the Department of Economic Vitality. The new position will oversee and lead the city’s recruitment efforts for retail, restaurants and mixed-use developments.
“Having her full-time focus and expertise is going to take our commercial real estate efforts to a whole new level,” said Devin Howland, the city’s director of economic vitality. “Chung has a proven track record of success on countless economic development projects. We know she will provide the same expert level of customer service to any retailer or restaurant looking to open or expand in Fayetteville.”
Tan has more than 19 years of business development experience and spent the past decade as the top economic development officer at the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.
