Tyson Foods promotes Doug Ramsey to top post in poultry division

Longtime Tyson Foods executive Doug Ramsey has been promoted to president of the company’s poultry division. He succeeds Noel White, who was who promoted to chief operations officer in February.

Ramsey previously served as a senior vice president in the poultry division, managing a portion of the business which included servicing key foodservice national accounts, retail fully cooked Tyson branded products and the school lunch program.

“I’m pleased to announce Doug’s promotion,” White said in a news release. “His extensive experience in the poultry industry, his focus on operations excellence and his ability to build strong teams are the right skills to guide our poultry business in the future.”

Ramsey, a graduate of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, joined Tyson Foods in 1992 and has served in both domestic and international roles in multiple business units.
