The Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville and the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP) in Rogers released Wednesday (Jan. 7) its 2025 community impact report that shows the two venues sold a total of 432,016 tickets during the year.

The venues also hosted a combined 252 performances, shows and events, and had a total economic impact of $68.1 million in event-related spending and over 1,000 jobs supported.

The report covers fiscal 2025 for the Walton Arts Center from July 2024 to June 2025 and fiscal 2026 for the Walmart AMP from April 2025 to March 2026. Link here for the report.

“Each season, our stages come alive with performances that spark curiosity, open doors to new perspectives and create moments of joy that linger long after the curtain falls or the last note fades,” said Peter Lane, president and CEO of the Walton Arts Center. “But the true impact of Walton Arts Center extends well beyond what happens on our stages. It lives in our classrooms, our neighborhoods, our partnerships with local organizations and in the countless connections made when people gather to experience the arts together.”

The operating surplus from the Walmart AMP and contributions from donors and fundraisers support Walton Arts Center programs and expand arts education and access opportunities for the community. The Walton Arts Center owns the Walmart AMP.

“This is a unique blending of our two venues for the benefit of our community,” Lane said. “It allows us to bring artistically important, accessible programming and create needed initiatives that positively impact students, teachers, local artists and other nonprofits serving our region and our state.”

Following are some highlights from the new report.

  • Launched three new arts education programs in 2025.
  • The Classroom Series had its strongest year in a decade, reaching 29,000 students across 24 theater productions.
  • Opened a new home for visual arts, Alexander Gallery in Porter Art Warehouse.
  • The Walmart AMP saw 277,400 attendees across 39 concerts, two symphonic shows, AMP Up the Arts and 10 client events.
  • Hosted technical rehearsals for the “Angelica Tour” of “Hamilton,” which helped launch that national tour.
