Velocity NWA launches leadership storytelling series
Bentonville-based consultancy Velocity NWA, with support from Walmart, has launched “Ride to Work Wednesday,” a 12-episode leadership storytelling series filmed on bikes at the retailer’s new Home Office and the surrounding trails.
Produced in collaboration with AWAL Productions, the episodes are released monthly online at velocitynwa.com/ride-to-work-wednesdays and on Instagram.
According to a news release, the series captures “candid, unscripted conversations with leaders who are shaping the future of work, wellbeing and community in Northwest Arkansas.”
Each episode includes discussions about how movement, workplace design and culture have come together at the new Home Office. Early episodes have reached tens of thousands of viewers.
The episodes feature conversations with Walmart executives and area leaders such as Steuart Walton, Dave and Jenny Marrs, William White, Cindi Marsiglio, Dan Bartlett, Kathleen McLaughlin and Julie Barber.
“These conversations are not about bikes; they’re about leadership,” said Kourtney Barrett, founder of Velocity NWA. “Northwest Arkansas is transforming how people live and work, and these episodes give a first-person look at what it means to build healthier, more human-centered workplace cultures through design, behavior and community.”
