Harps Food announces promotions following Randall Harp retirement

Springdale-based Harps Food announced several new promotions following the retirement of Randall Harp, who was vice president of warehouse operations and grocery procurement.

“Randall has been an invaluable member of our leadership team, known for his steady guidance, deep operational knowledge and commitment to the success of Harps,” said David Ganoung, chief marketing officer at Harps Food Stores. “His legacy will continue to shape the future of our company for years to come.”

Shannon Kincade was promoted to vice president of center-store merchandising. He joined Harps in 1985 as a part-time sacker/stocker at Mountain Home, Ark. From there, he transferred to Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 1992. Later that year, Kincade accepted an assistant general merchandise manager position and was general merchandise manager, general merchandise specialist, director of general merchandise and vice president of general merchandise. He held that title until his recent promotion.

Josh Cleveland was promoted to director of grocery retail management. He began his career with Harps in March 2011 as a stocker and cashier in Springdale. He advanced to customer service manager and receiver before transitioning to the accounting department in 2015, after earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Arkansas. In 2017, Cleveland joined the Harps Distribution Center as part of the grocery buying team, where his jobs included grocery buyer and category manager.

Mike Roberts was promoted to the director of warehouse operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in transportation and logistics from the University of Arkansas in 2004. In 2001, he began his career as a starter in Mountain Home. His jobs included closing manager and manager trainee before accepting a grocery manager position in Springdale in 2006. Roberts was promoted to store manager in 2007 in Springdale. He later managed stores in Centerton and Rogers before being promoted to the direct store delivery (DSD) specialist/grocery buyer at Harps Distribution Center in Springdale in 2016. Roberts was promoted to DSD director in 2022, and he added director of warehouse operations to his duties this year.

Ashley Winget was promoted to director of general merchandise. Winget began her career with Harps in 2002 as a cashier in Salina, Okla. She has held the roles of grocery manager, store manager and regional general merchandise supervisor. Winget earned retail and leadership certificates from Umpqua Community College.

Harps is a 100% employee-owned company that operates 159 stores in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Oklahoma. As the largest employee-owned company in Arkansas, Harps employs more than 6,700 people.
