Fayetteville-chartered Arvest Bank recently opened a branch at the new Walmart Home Office in Bentonville. The 1,865-square-foot branch at 1702 S.E. Eighth St., Suite 6, is the company’s eighth Bentonville branch and 47th in Northwest Arkansas.

The city of Bentonville issued a commercial building permit valued at $589,885 for the property in August.

The new branch offers personal and business account services, personal loans and lines of credit. It also provides mortgage, small business lending, wealth management and private banking services by appointment.

“We are proud to serve the Walmart campus community with this new, full-service branch,” said Chad Evans, president of Arvest Bank – Benton County. “This branch is designed to seamlessly integrate into the daily lives of campus associates and visitors, providing unparalleled convenience for all their financial needs — from a quick transaction to planning for a mortgage or small business loan. We look forward to being a valuable partner for everyone on campus.”

The branch, which does not have a drive-thru, has five full-time employees during business hours, with additional employees available by appointment. Lobby hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

The branch has three ATM and Live Teller machines, including one that’s accessible all day. The machine operates like an ATM but also allows customers to complete more complex financial transactions with tellers via video. Live tellers will be available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

Asked whether Arvest Bank has any other new locations opening soon in Northwest Arkansas, a spokeswoman said there are no plans for new branches in the region.

According to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Arvest Bank has total assets of $27.34 billion.
