Connections: Yellow Rocket Concepts hosts gift card fundraiser
Arkansas-based restaurant group Yellow Rocket Concepts launched a community-focused fundraiser supporting food banks across its operating regions. Its brands include Big Orange, Local Lime, ZAZA, Taco & Tamale Co. and Lost Forty Brewing.
The initiative, which runs through Dec. 31, allows customers of its brands to raise money for food banks by purchasing gift cards either in-store or online. For each $100 in gift cards purchased in a single transaction, Yellow Rocket Concepts will donate $5 to an area food bank. Funds raised in Northwest Arkansas will go to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in Lowell, while funds raised in central Arkansas will go to the Arkansas Foodbank in Little Rock.
“This initiative started with our restaurant teams who see the needs in our communities every day and wanted to do something meaningful,” said Amber Brewer, chief marketing officer and creative director at Yellow Rocket Concepts. “We wanted to make giving simple — something built into what we already do. The gift cards we sell will help put real meals on local tables this season.”
