Dr. Weldon Murry of MANA Foot and Ankle Clinic in Fayetteville recently earned the Certified Wound Specialist Physician credential, the first Arkansas podiatrist to receive this certification, according to a news release.

The certification, administered by the American Board of Wound Management, is one of the highest professional distinctions in the field of wound medicine. The credential represents mastery in evidence-based wound care, including diabetic and venous ulcers, pressure injuries, limb preservation, and advanced biologic and regenerative therapies.

“This certification reinforces my mission to provide the most advanced, effective and compassionate wound care possible for my patients,” Murry said. “I’m proud to bring this level of expertise to Northwest Arkansas and to help raise the standard of wound management across our region.”

Murry specializes in advanced wound healing, limb preservation and regenerative medicine. He provides care for diabetic and other patients with chronic or non-healing wounds.
