For the fourth consecutive year, the Bentonville Farmers Market has set a sales record, reaching $3 million this year.

Sales rose by 3.4% to $3 million this year from $2.9 million in 2024, according to numbers provided by Dana Schlagenhaft, executive director of Downtown Bentonville Inc.

“This is a huge achievement for Downtown Bentonville — not just for the amazing teams who’ve poured their hearts into this market for more than two decades, but for the local farmers and makers who are seeing record sales,” Market Manager Dylan Taylor said. “Hitting this milestone really shows how far our region has come and how deeply our community values what the market stands for.”

The numbers comprise sales generated by all participating vendors from the outdoor season. Each market, which takes place every Saturday from April to October, typically averages 108 vendors, including farmers, bakers and crafters, Schlagenhaft said. DBI receives a small commission based on vendor sales.

Excluding a dip to $629,520 in 2020, sales have increased since 2019, rising from $834,676 to $1.16 million in 2021, $1.2 million in 2022, and $2.1 million in 2023. Sales were $280,000 in 2011.

The Bentonville Farmers Market indoor season takes place from 9 a.m. to noon each Saturday from Nov. 1 to March 21 at the Record. The indoor season is presented by Renewal by Anderson. Market supporters include Walmart, the Walton Family Foundation, the city of Bentonville and Visit Bentonville.
