How would you describe your company? Blossom Beauty Builders is a non-profit organization that assists people in finding ways to buy a home. Recently, the non-profit had a charitable golf tournament at the Trumann Country Club. 

What is the best business advice someone has given you? The best business advice someone has given me would be to make sure that God is first in the business. 

If you had $1 million to give, what would you support? I would support St. Jude and the work they do to help care for sick and injured children. 

Do you think Artificial Intelligence (AI) can take jobs in your industry? Artificial Intelligence cannot replace the human touch. There are times we have to have, or need be a shoulder to cry on. AI can’t do the things that God created man to do.  

Which skills do you think are most important when it comes to leadership? Leadership allows individuals to bring the best of themselves to the organization. It allows them to walk in their purpose. 

How significant to you is developing a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) culture within your organization? Being taught from my youth to adulthood that although we all have different skin tones, it’s our personality and culture that allow us to bring something unique to the table. Every organization should exemplify that of God’s creation, all people. 

If you could change one thing about your leadership style, what would it be and why? If I could change one thing about my leadership style it would be sometimes to step back and let individuals find their way. My reason would be to allow independence yet I want them to know that I am here when they need me. 

What’s your favorite television show? My favorite television show is “Matlock.”

What are your thoughts on working from home? There are many positives from working at home but one critical thing missing would be socialization. We draw strength from one another. 

What is the most used app on your phone? The most used app on my phone would be Facebook. The reason it is the most used app on my phone if that I post to grow my businesses. 

What did you want to be when you were growing up? When I was growing up, I wanted to be a psychologist. I did earn a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Arkansas State University but decided to pursue other business and professional goals.
