Mervin Jebaraj, director of the Center of Business and Economic Research, addresses the state's economy during last year's Business Forecast Luncheon.
The Center for Business & Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Arkansas will host the Quarterly Business Analysis Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 18 at Hilton Garden Inn in Fayetteville.
CBER Director Mervin Jebaraj will present economic data and insights during the program, starting at 11:30 a.m. after networking. The CBER is housed in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.
“We will be discussing updated economic growth projections, economic impact of tariffs, inflation expectations, CPI (consumer price index), unemployment rates, the Federal Reserve’s current monetary stance in interest rates, and its impact on housing and commercial real estate,” Jebaraj said. “As the national and state economy faces these challenges, timely economic information is vital to good business and policy decision making.”
Registration is required. The registration deadline is June 13. Link here for more information.
The Walton College of Business was established following a 1998 donation of $50 million from the Walton Family Charitable Support Foundation and now has more than 9,000 students in 12 undergraduate and 29 graduate programs.
