Connections: Retail innovation week scheduled in September

About 1,000 people are expected to attend Retail Innovation Week from Sept. 15-18 in Bentonville. The week will bring together leaders in retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), technology and investing to explore what’s next in the industry.

The week will feature more than 10 events and is produced by dunnhumby Ventures, Endeavor, Fieldbook Studio, Plug and Play and 8th & Walton.

The Embark Retail Innovation Summit, produced by Bentonville-based Fieldbook Studio, is set for Sept. 16 and will include a keynote from entrepreneur and author Jesse Itzler, executive-led conversations on innovation and digital strategy, and insights from CPG and retail technology founders.

Programs will focus on the following tracks: new CPG ideation and validation, CPG go-to-market strategies and omni-commerce realized. The week will also include tours of the new Walmart Home Office, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and mountain biking trails. Organizers plan to host Retail Innovation Week annually.
