Creative Arkansas Community Hub & Exchange (CACHE) will host a free professional development workshop for arts professionals on June 11 at The Medium at 214 S. Main St. in Springdale.
The new workshop, Collecting Data: Realistic Steps to Show Your Value, is part of the ongoing Year of Learning and Outreach (YOLO) series, according to a Monday (June 2) news release.
The workshop from 9 a.m. to noon will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Jennifer Martinez Belt, chief philanthropy officer at the Scott Family Amazeum. Panelists include Annetta Tirey, program director at Arkansas Community Foundation; Ana Aguayo, associate program officer for the Home Region program at Walton Family Foundation; Carris Adams, director of organizational services at Mid-America Arts Alliance; and Scarlet Sims, arts services manager at Arkansas Arts Council.
Panelists will discuss how they use data to fundraise or to evaluate grantee programs. After the panel discussion, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art’s Center for Audience Research & Evaluation will lead attendees through data collection practices that support organizational storytelling, grant applications and meeting grant reporting metrics. Rachel Lindsey, research and evaluation specialist at Crystal Bridges, will lead the workshop.
Registration is required to attend. Lunch will be provided. Link here to register.
