First Community Bank has rehired Brian Emison as senior vice president, retail deposit officer. In this role, Emison will focus on deposit growth, with an emphasis on technical applications and data analytics to support strategic initiatives.
Emison, a Jonesboro native, has 17 years of experience in the banking industry, along with a background in customer relationship management, data-driven strategy, and community engagement.
An Arkansas State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he has remained active in the Jonesboro area, serving as a city councilman, chairman of the Public Safety Commission, and a member of the Advertising & Promotions Commission.
“First Community Bank has had so much success in growing its asset size along with its addition of multiple branches in the short two years that I’ve been away,” said Emison. “I consider myself honored to be welcomed back to First Community Bank with open arms to be part of this exceptional organization that wholeheartedly encompasses the definition of community banking.”
Jason Taylor, executive vice president, chief financial officer, said he is pleased that Emison is rejoining the organization.
“Brian brings valuable experience and innovative thinking to this role. His return strengthens our deposit growth efforts, and I’m confident that he will be instrumental as we continue to grow and serve our communities,” he said.
