The Jones Center in Springdale has released its 2024 Community Impact Report, which highlights growth metrics over the past year in its three primary program pillars: arts and culture, sports and recreation, and science and technology.

The report also includes details about the nonprofit’s community engagement, regional nonprofit support, and volunteerism.

According to the report, Jones Center’s 2024 budget was $9 million. Visitors rose 10% to 596,119 in 2024. Members increased by 13% to 7,499. “Access for Everyone” scholarships were given to 1,344 recipients. Support for scholarships rose by 35% to $158,000. Program participants among its three primary pillars were 4,094.

“This report is a testament to the work we’re doing to grow our public programs and philanthropic initiatives, support local nonprofits, and celebrate Jones team members, volunteers and stakeholders,” President and CEO Joe Lloyd said. “With double-digit growth in 2024 for total site visits, memberships, and Access for Everyone scholarships for local families, I am beyond proud of our team. In 2025, we will continue this momentum, helping our members and guests thrive while creating a healthier, stronger community for all.”

The report shows the growing arts segment rose to 16 performances in 2024 from three in 2023, and had 3,240 attendees, up 570%. The summer camp program served 1,094 children from 33 cities. Free community events had 11,154 attendees. Volunteers had 686 service hours. The Jones Center also provided 93 nonprofit affiliates with $2.5 million in in-kind rent and $547,000 in in-kind rental space.

“At the Jones Center, we develop programs to meet our community’s needs. We are committed to lasting community impact, whether that be teaching a lifesaving skill or making programs financially accessible,” said Lydia Corbell, senior director of programming and engagement. “Our programs are designed to ensure everyone — at any age and in any stage of life — has an opportunity to learn, play and thrive.”

The Jones Center has 230 staff, comprising full-time, part-time and contract workers.
