Rogers-based pro soccer club Ozark United FC will build its new stadium at a Pinnacle Hills location that’s more than twice the size of the 11.5-acre site it had planned to build the stadium, according to a Tuesday (March 11) news release.

The new stadium will be built at the northeast corner of West Perry and South Bellview roads. The address was not released. County property records show Hofco Development LLC, managed by Rhonda French, and Nicholas and Barbara Hobbs own the largest portions of land there, 17.14 and 14.14 acres, respectively.

In December, Ozark United announced it would build its stadium at a different site but still in the Pinnacle Hills area. According to the release, the new site is southeast of the former one and is expected to allow for “upgraded amenities, a more immersive matchday atmosphere, and room for long-term growth. The larger footprint also increases development opportunities for investors.”

The news release provided additional details, including renderings and development plans, are expected to be released soon.

Ozark United FC was co-founded by Chris Martinovic and Warren Smith and aims to bring men’s and women’s professional soccer teams to Northwest Arkansas. The men’s team will play in the USL Championship, and the women’s team will play in the USL Super League.

In July 2023, the club announced plans to establish men’s and women’s soccer teams, build a 5,000-seat stadium in Rogers and begin play in 2026. The aim was to have the stadium completed in early 2026. Initial cost estimates ranged between $15 million and $20 million for the stadium and land, initially at the southwest corner of Lazy L Street and Bellview Road. The club had secured the land through an agreement with Rogers philanthropist Johnelle Hunt, the landowner.
