$2.89 million agri retail store purchase tops property deals

Town and Country International made the most significant residential and commercial property transfer in Craighead County between Jan. 15 to Feb. 15, according to the Craighead County Assessor’s Office. The company spent $2.89 million on Heartland Equipment, an agricultural equipment retailer. The deal was completed Feb. 5.
Richard and Ginger Baughn made the second most significant real estate purchase in the county during the period. They bought a house in Plantation Estates. The deal was for $1.11 million and was completed Jan. 16.
In the third largest transaction in the county, the Brookland School District bought crop acres. The deal was for $1.1 million and was completed Jan. 16.
