Longtime marketing and public relations director Kyle Proctor has launched a new endeavor in Northwest Arkansas called Yellow Nunchucks, a fractional marketing company. Proctor founded the new agency in November and has begun to publicize his efforts.
He has served long stints in marketing, advertising, public relations and communications with CJRW, Rockfish, Arvest Bank, and Home BancShares, among other endeavors.
“Last November, after nearly 10 years at Arvest, I made the decision to leave and embark on a new journey. Over the past few years, I received numerous requests for strategic consulting, and the idea of pursuing “my own thing” became increasingly appealing,” said Proctor.
“As I enter my 25th year in strategic marketing, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my own company, Yellow Nunchucks. We specialize in Fractional CMO [chief marketing officer] services and marketing consulting, helping businesses of all sizes scale and refine their marketing efforts,” he added.
The premise, Proctor said, is to work with startup companies who need a marketing professional but can’t afford a full-time position, or existing companies of various sizes who need a specific engagement to accomplish a new launch or expanded brand.
“With Yellow Nunchucks, you gain access to my expertise and, if needed, a robust network of personally vetted agencies and freelancers who work alongside me to deliver comprehensive marketing solutions,” he said.
Proctor sat down for a conversation with Northwest Arkansas Business Journal editor-in-chief Roby Brock for an interview. You can listen to the full interview here and learn more about how “Yellow Nunchucks” became the moniker for the new pursuit.
