Bennett CRE, others join the Northwest Arkansas Council
Rogers-based Bennett Commercial Real Estate was one of the three new members to join the Northwest Arkansas Council in 2024. New members were announced at the council’s annual meeting in November.
New members must be nominated by existing members and approved by the nominating committee on the council’s board. Cigna Healthcare and Nelms Dyslexia Foundation are the other new members. The council, which has about 100 members, addresses regional priorities, including infrastructure, workforce development and economic development.
As one of the new members, Bennett Commercial Real Estate aims to contribute its commercial real estate experience and collaborate with area leaders to further support and shape the area’s future.
“Our team is honored to join the Northwest Arkansas Council and take an active role in advancing our region’s growth,” said Clinton Bennett, founder of Bennett Commercial Real Estate. “We’re eager to share insights, learn from fellow members and collectively make a positive impact on our community.”
Nelson Peacock, president and CEO of the Northwest Arkansas Council, welcomed the company as one of the newest members.
“Their expertise in commercial real estate will be an asset as we work together to enhance the region’s quality of life and drive sustainable growth,” Peacock said. “We look forward to the impact of our collaboration on the community and the future of Northwest Arkansas.”
The council recently released its Vision 2030 plan, highlighting the need for enhanced health care infrastructure. Medical office leasing is one of Bennett Commercial Real Estate’s specialties in the real estate industry.
“The Vision 2030 plan allows for further collaboration amongst health care systems that will benefit Northwest Arkansas’ population for decades,” said Corey Fuhrman, health care specialist at Bennett Commercial Real Estate. “I am optimistic we are on the right track to becoming a health care destination. We are excited about the opportunity to invest in our community as it continues to grow.”
The report shows nearly $2 billion in ongoing and planned investments in health care infrastructure from 2018 to 2030. The plan’s goals include increasing regional specialty care, expanding the health care workforce and strengthening regional research partnerships.
Bennett Commercial Real Estate has seven staff, including three brokers.
