Citizens Bank promotes Rob Woods to city president of NWA market
Batesville-based Citizens Bank promoted Rob Woods to City President of all Northwest Arkansas branches. He has served as City President for Bentonville and Rogers since 2021, and will now have the added responsibility of the Fayetteville market locations.
“This new role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute leadership for our dynamic organization in Northwest Arkansas,” said Woods. “Being part of creating innovative strategies and financial solutions in such an evolving market is extremely rewarding.”
Woods earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Mississippi. With many licenses and accreditations, he has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry.
“I’m confident Rob will excel in leading the Fayetteville market just as he has in Rogers and Bentonville,” said Micah Beard, executive vice president for Citizens Bank. “This position will allow him to leverage his extensive experience to strengthen our service commitment and continue to build strong partnerships in the Northwest Arkansas area.”
Woods is an active member of the American Bankers Association (ABA) and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has previously served as a board member and finance chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas, commissioner of Cord Blood Bank of Arkansas and membership chairman of Boy Scouts of America.
