1828 Capital & Partners established in Fayetteville
Arkansas natives Edward Prewitt, Max Mahler, and Mark Gilbert recently founded a new financial advisory practice, 1828 Capital & Partners, marking their departure from Wells Fargo Advisors.
The new firm, which has eight staff, is located in a recently renovated office at 212 N. Church Ave. in Fayetteville.
Its staff, which managed more than $1.6 billion in assets as of November, “chose to establish an independent practice to better serve their clients and deepen their roots in the community,” according to a news release.
“1828 Capital & Partners draws its name from the year Fayetteville was founded, reflecting the team’s heritage and long-standing ties to the region.”
In a joint statement, the founders noted that the firm was established “after much planning and careful deliberation…This transition represents our commitment to ensuring that our clients remain at the center of everything we do, and we believe this move will only strengthen our ability to serve them.”
Clients’ assets will be held at National Financial Services LLC, a Fidelity company that oversees more than $11.7 trillion in assets and serves over 8 million clients globally.
