Bentonville-based nonprofit Water for Good recently released a new brand, logo and identity after its merger with Lifewater International earlier this year. Lifewater International merged with Water for Good of Indianapolis. The deal was completed on Jan. 1.

“Much work has been done over the past nine months to integrate two historic brands into one identity,” said Dave LeVan, CEO of Water for Good. “We’re excited to share the results of our team’s efforts with the community. The goal of Water for Good is to approach the global water, sanitation and hygiene crisis in a holistic manner and serve more people more effectively.”

The new brand was created in collaboration with Water for Good leadership and marketing agencies, considering the historical legacies of the original organizations.

The goal was to create an identity representing Water for Good’s future direction. The mark is the key expression of Water for Good’s mission: transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, improved sanitation and hygiene in the places that need it most. The water drop in the middle of the mark symbolizes the commitment to safe, reliable water, while the green arms symbolize sanitation and hygiene.

“Our stronger new brand identity positions us to be thought leaders in our sector,” said Shannon Kozee, director of marketing at Water for Good. “It drives us to be the catalyst that helps communities thrive, keeps children in school, empowers women, creates new businesses, and fosters community health and prosperity.”
