Two coastal real estate brokerages recently opened Northwest Arkansas offices — their first in Arkansas. Los Angeles-based global luxury brokerage The Agency opened a Bentonville office at 809 N.W. Third St.

The Agency Bentonville will be led by managing partners Kaala House and Calah Andelman and managing director Alex Andelman. It has three staff and 16 agents and will serve clients in Bentonville and nearby areas, including Scissortail, Pinnacle and Shadow Valley.

“Bentonville’s impressive development, including its proximity to major corporate headquarters, makes it an ideal location for our newest office,” said Mauricio Umansky, founder and CEO of The Agency.

The Agency opened 25 new offices this year and has over 120 offices in 12 countries. Multiple publications ranked it as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies, with sales rising to $12.43 billion in 2023 from $10.99 billion in 2022, according to RealTrends.

Lakeland, Fla.-based land brokerage SVN / Saunders Ralston Dantzler Real Estate recently opened a Fayetteville office. David Hill, who’s been appointed regional managing director, will lead the office at 112 W. Center St, Suite 501. It has two staff and is hiring.

“The Arkansas land market is ripe for investment, and I am excited to guide this expansion,” Hill said. “As we grow our presence throughout the state, our focus will be on building a team that not only understands the Arkansas land and real estate market but also embodies our firm’s values of integrity and service.”

Started in 1996, the firm also has offices in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Over the past three years, it’s brokered nearly $2 billion in transactions.

“As we began searching for new markets to explore, expanding into Arkansas just made sense for our brokerage,” founder Dean Saunders said. “Land in Arkansas holds significant value. Between the productive and tillable farmland across the state and the growth in Northwest Arkansas, we see immense potential here for landowners, investors and potential new real estate advisers.”
