Tyson Foods declares quarterly dividend
Shareholders of Tyson Foods will receive a 49-cent cash dividend for the last quarter of fiscal 2024, ending Oct. 1. Tyson’s restricted class B shares held by the family trust will garner a 41-cent dividend for the period.
The board of directors said the fourth-quarter dividend will be paid on Dec. 13 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 29.
Shareholders of record on Aug. 30 will receive their third-quarter dividend of 49-cents per share on Sept. 13. This dividend was declared by the company in May. Class B shares will receive 41 cents.
Springdale-based Tyson Foods has raised its annual dividend for each of the past 12 years. The fiscal 2024 payment is $1.96, with a yield of 3.21% which means for $100 invested in Tyson Foods shares, investors earn $3.21 in annual dividend payments.
Shares of Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN) on Thursday (Aug. 8) closed at $61.88, up 74 cents. Over the past 52 weeks the shares have traded between $44.94 and $63.90. The share price is up 13.96% from a year ago.
