Lawrence Healthcare announced Thursday (Aug. 15) its selection of Aaron Hilton as the system’s new president.

Hilton has spent the past two years working at St. Bernards Healthcare, leading numerous projects to improve patient care and system operations. Hilton led the Sterile Processing Department at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, restructuring the overall department and implementing new tracking software for sterilized hospital instruments. Hilton also reorganized the St. Bernards Pregnancy Clinic, enhancing care for mothers experiencing high-risk pregnancies. This service extends to Walnut Ridge, where the clinic has a presence within Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

While at St. Bernards, Hilton completed his master’s degree in healthcare administration through the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He now joins Lawrence Healthcare as part of a management agreement with St. Bernards that dates back more than four decades.

“Lawrence Healthcare has a commitment of ‘People you know caring for the people you love,’” Hilton said. “I feel privileged to work alongside this team as we uphold that promise and strive to be the healthcare provider of choice in our community.”

Hilton, born in Lubbock, Texas and raised in Greensboro, N.C., expressed his excitement to remain in Northeast Arkansas.

“I’ve lived in the South most of my life, but this region in particular has become home,” he said.

He replaces the system’s previous president, Josh Conlee, who transitions into an expanded role with St. Bernards Healthcare.
