Jason Robinson, co-founder of IntegriTech in Lowell, opened a 3,200-square-foot coworking office in Lowell called Railside. The space at 107 S. Lincoln St. reflects his SmartSpaces vision to create an inclusive coworking space that provides better technology.

He wants to create a culture of small businesses to connect and serve each other.

“We look at Railside as cowork for the common worker,” Robinson said. “We’re targeting startups and small businesses — maybe a company that works in Fayetteville, and they’re housed there mostly but want to do more work in Benton County. And they need an office space further north to home base out of or to flex out of.”

Robinson aims to create more coworking spaces throughout the region that allow members to work seamlessly between each one. For example, members scan a QR code posted next to the printer to print documents. He explained that if a member wanted to print a document, it could be placed in a print queue at one coworking space and printed at another location.

“We’re super tech-focused because we’re born from our business, IntegriTech,” he said. “IntegriTech is a managed service provider for IT services. We’ve got 11 employees now. We started in 2018 in an office, 2017 on paper. We’ve got 45 years of Fortune 100 experience in technology.”

He said the company leaders incorporated their experience into the new coworking space, which is a smart office. That includes cloud-based systems that connect printers, smartphone apps to open doors or book a conference room, and security systems that capture images when a door is opened. He added that the office has multiple broadband providers, so if one had an outage, the other would provide it to ensure members had internet access.

“We’ve created … a space that the vision being multi-location is unique in itself because … there’s not really anybody in the area that executes it in a way that we do,” he said. “There’s a couple that maybe have multi-location. But the fact that everything is cloud-first and super secure and flexible, we’re able to look for a location, possibly in Siloam [Springs] or Centerton, maybe south Fayetteville, that we can connect so that your identity you have as a member here in Lowell, you can just float. Drive down there and walk in. Your phone works on the door like it does here.”

Other Railside amenities include mail handling and shredding services, snacks and coffee, and lockers. A conference room with a large-screen TV set up for virtual meetings.

Membership is $225 per month for 24/7 access. Private offices are available starting at $700 monthly. Day passes are also offered. Robinson said Railside has nearly 30 members, while the capacity is about 100. Iuaiyou Buech is the office manager and splits her time between Railside and IntegriTech.
