Gov. Sanders to keynote NWA Business Journal Forty Under 40 luncheon
Arkansas Gov. Sarah Sanders will be the keynote speaker at the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 luncheon at the Embassy Suites in Rogers on Aug. 13. This year’s class will be featured in the Aug. 12 issue of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
Gov. Sanders is the 47th governor of the state of Arkansas and was sworn into office on Jan. 10, 2023. She is the first woman to serve as governor of the state and the first daughter of a previous governor to hold the office.
In her first term, Sanders pushed for education and prison reform, tax cuts and streamlined government services, and investments to expand Arkansas’ outdoor economy.
At the Forty Under 40 luncheon, Gov. Sanders will participate in a fireside chat with Roby Brock, CEO of Natural State Media, the parent company for the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and Talk Business & Politics.
“I’m looking forward to Gov. Sanders joining us at our August 13th luncheon. I know our conversation will offer honorees and guests a unique perspective on the importance of Northwest Arkansas and where the governor hopes to see the region grow in the coming years,” said Brock. “We’ll also explore her thoughts on leadership and other aspects of her governorship.”
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal Forty Under 40 luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Embassy Suites ballroom in Rogers.
