Arkansas multi-service contractor Nabholz Corp. recently bolstered its infrastructure division with the acquisition of excavation contractor Brother’s Construction of Van Buren from Todd and Terry Mooney. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The future has never been brighter,” Terry Mooney said. “We’re excited to see the vision of Nabholz unfold.”

Brother’s Construction was founded in 1994.

Chris Kauffman, president of Nabholz’s excavation operations, said the deal included all Brother’s Construction assets and more than 100 employees. Nabholz will continue to work from the company’s Van Buren office at 625 Kerr St. and assume the existing lease.

“Bringing the Brother’s team into the Nabholz family provides growth opportunities for all and enables us to better serve our customers,” Kauffman said. “We are excited and looking forward to what we can accomplish together.”

Nabholz, which maintains headquarters in Conway, is commemorating its 75th anniversary in 2024. The company works on projects nationally and has over $1 billion in annual volume, with more than 1,400 employees.
