Future and current small business owners have several options in June to participate in a free learning opportunity through the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University.

ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing and profitability.

Consulting sessions will provide opportunities for business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. There are limited spots for consulting sessions.

There is no charge for the events, but registration is required. To register, call 870-972-3517.

This event is made possible at no cost by mission co-sponsorships from FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, First Security Bank, and Simmons Bank.

Events will be held as follows:

An online coffee chat will be led by Robert Bahn, ASBTDC business consultant and Clint Vogus, instructor of management and author of “The Right Recipe for Entrepreneurial Success” on June 4.

Laura Miller, ASBTDC director, will host consulting sessions at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce Tech Depot on June 13.

Miller will lead consulting sessions in Paragould at the Generating Innovative Network on June 18.

Rheanna Branscum, ASBTDC business consultant, will lead consulting sessions at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce on June 25.
