New business for podcast creators opens in Rogers
In February, serial entrepreneur Eric Howerton opened a podcast studio in Rogers’ Pinnacle Hills area. The studio provides everything needed to make a professional podcast.
PodcastVideos.com is the name of the business and the website. It offers a unique blend of audio and visual elements to amplify content consumption. The 1,500-square-foot space at 5102 W. Pauline Whitaker Parkway provides a turnkey audio and video recording experience for companies, agencies, media partners and individuals looking to elevate their storytelling by incorporating video elements.
“When you think about marketing and communications, the most powerful asset is video,” he said.
Howerton is the co-founder and chief growth officer of WhyteSpyder. The company began in 2010 mainly as a content creator for suppliers selling on Walmart.com but quickly transformed into a technology company. It was acquired in 2021 by London-based information and analytics firm Ascential for an undisclosed sum.
Howerton started PodcastVideos.com in 2022, envisioning it as a resource hub for businesses, organizations and individuals seeking to elevate their podcasting endeavors.
“The market demand is there,” he said. “People who want to get [a podcast] going but don’t know how to start or have the time. Learning how to do all these things to do your own production and distribution takes time. And that’s what we’re here to serve.”
PodcastVideos.com includes five studios for host-guest formats, remote interviews or solo recordings. Customers can choose from four-person studio layouts, including a conference room, lounge and news desk.
The business offers several membership packages with various pricing levels based on services.
“This is our flagship studio, and we plan to scale this to multiple cities quickly,” Howerton said.
Led by studio manager Parker Dodson, PodcastVideos.com has seven employees.
