Jotto Desk to consolidate into 80,000-SF Rogers facility
Rogers-based manufacturer Assembled Products Corp. will build a more than 80,000-square-foot building to consolidate operations for its Jotto Desk brand. The brand’s products include rugged, adjustable laptop mounts and other heavy-duty equipment for vehicles, such as public safety.
The new building will be at 405 W. Easy St. in Rogers, adjacent to the existing one. It will combine three buildings and provide additional space to increase assembly line capacity and product storage.
“It will allow for us to continue to scale,” said Erin Kiefer, president and CEO of Assembled Products. “We are outgrowing the current facilities that we’re in. Because of our increased business and increased number of customers that we have the privilege of serving, moving into a space that will allow us to continue to scale and serve more customers is what we’re looking for.”
She noted that Assembled Products designs, sells and assembles its products, and outsources the heavy manufacturing and fabrication of them.
“We’ve got the fastest lead time in the industry,” she said. “We’re looking forward to improving that lead time even more by being able to combine… two production facilities and engineering.”
A groundbreaking ceremony is set for Tuesday (March 5) at the new building site. The general contractor is JC Construction of Rogers. Construction is expected to be completed in March 2025.
Kiefer declined to provide a project investment amount or revenue numbers but said Assembled Products has been growing over the past several years, and Jotto Desk has been a large portion of the growth. About half of its business comprises Jotto Desk.
Assembled Products has about 140 employees and builds Spray Master Technologies pressure washers and the first electric shopping cart, Mart Cart. The company, whose 40th anniversary was in April 2023, also provides product maintenance services.
