Downtown Bentonville hotel hires leadership team ahead of summer opening
The developers of a six-story hotel under construction in downtown Bentonville say it will open this summer.
Greenville, S.C.-based Windsor Aughtry Group is the owner and developer of Motto by Hilton at 229 S. Main St., across the street from the Ledger office building. It will have 175 guest rooms, bike valet and storage, communal spaces, coffee shop, restaurant and multiple bars.
Hospitality America, a third-party hotel operator and asset management company based in Greenville, S.C., will be the property manager. Daniel Lock, a company vice president, said the hotel is taking reservations starting in October 2024.
“As we get closer to opening, the reservation window will move closer to the opening date,” he said. At this stage, the brand requires a three-month window, which will shrink when the construction phases are completed.”
The hotel is partnering with The Indigo Road Hospitality Group of Charleston, S.C., to manage its food and beverage program, which features two concepts: Junto, a Japanese-inspired restaurant, and Bar Kapu, an outdoor bar featuring live music and a Polynesian-inspired beverage program.
Windsor Aughtry has hired veteran hospitality leader Matthew Disheroon as general manager. Disheroon has 30 years of hospitality experience and has held leadership positions for several hotel brands in Northwest Arkansas.
Bailie Sonnentag is the hotel’s sales director. She has 10 years of experience and has held similar roles at multiple Northwest Arkansas hotels.
