Cirrus flight training center opens in Rogers
Destinations Aviation of Tulsa has opened a flight training center at 2 Executive Hangar Road at the Rogers Executive Airport. The owner says it is Arkansas’ only flight training center for Cirrus aircraft.
Owner and chief flight instructor David Koehn expressed excitement about joining the Northwest Arkansas aviation community.
“We understand the challenges of flight training, and we are confident that our flexible training options make it easier and more fun to become a safe, proficient pilot,” he said.
Koehn said the Rogers training center is a combined 4,800 square feet of office and hangar space.
“It is equipped with a team of highly skilled flight instructors dedicated to delivering factory-level training experiences in modern Cirrus SR series aircraft,” he said. We have flexible training options aimed at making flight training easier and more enjoyable.”
Founded in 2009, Destinations Aviation offers various courses, including private pilot training, instrument rating, commercial pilot certification and recurrent training for Cirrus aircraft.
The company’s fleet includes late-model G6 Cirrus SR 20s and SR22s, with G7 aircraft expected to arrive later in the year. It also includes a Legend Cub, eight instructors, and 15 employees.
