First National Bank of NWA planning 3rd Rogers branch
First National Bank of NWA (FNBNWA) has identified a 0.33-acre site in downtown Rogers to build a new branch.
According to planning documents filed with the city, the bank intends to build a 5,080-square-foot branch at the southeast corner of South Arkansas and East Poplar streets. BUF Studio of Bentonville is working on the design. Engineering firm Olsson in Fayetteville and Prism Design Studio of Huntsville are also working on the project.
The bank paid $950,000 for the lot in January 2023 ($66.09 per square foot).
FNBNWA President Rob Husong said the bank will release more details about the planned downtown location in the coming months.
FNBNWA is a division of First National Bank of Fort Smith, which was chartered in 1872 and has 13 branches in the Fort Smith metro. The company has six branches in Benton and Washington counties: Rogers (2), Bentonville, Centerton, Lowell and Fayetteville.
