Core Architects in Rogers has filed a development plan with the city indicating its intent to build a new office building in the city’s Pinnacle Hills area.

According to the document, the two-story building will be 5,940 square feet at the corner of Pinnacle Hills Parkway and West Capital Avenue. Crafton Tull of Rogers is the site engineer.

Core bought the 0.28-acre lot in December for $390,297 ($32 per square foot). Hunt Ventures was the seller.

Core’s previous office building no longer stands. The company’s tenant-owned building at the northwest corner of New Hope Road and South Promenade Boulevard was razed this past fall. Georgia-based developer SJC Ventures is developing the 12-acre site to include an 80,498-square-foot mixed-use center called Pinnacle Springs. Whole Foods is the anchor tenant.

Core Architects, led by Dusty Graham, is officing temporarily on the third floor of Founders Plaza (General Mills/Coca-Cola building) in Rogers.
