Blue Kangaroo Packoutz, a commercial and residential contents restoration company headquartered in Michigan, recently opened its first Arkansas location at 636 E. 15th St. in Fayetteville.

According to a news release, the business rescues and restores people’s contents inside homes and businesses following man-made and natural disasters, often working alongside insurance companies to assess loss and reimbursements.

Matthew Chambers owns the Northwest Arkansas franchise. He is assisted by his wife and business partner, Julie Chambers. Courtney Parker is the director of operations.

The business uses an inventory management system that carefully documents and tracks items through all stages of the packout and restoration process.

Digital photography and barcoding ensure transparency and enable the Blue Kangaroo Packoutz team to stay in touch with and provide regular updates to the customer throughout every step of the restoration process. Often salvageable items such as furniture, upholstery, artwork, electronics, documents and clothing are treated and restored to pre-loss condition.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz launched in 2019 and has 60 locations. The company is backed by Belfor Franchise Group, a brand management company based in Michigan that supports over a dozen different franchises and works with thousands of franchisees across the country.
