Leadership coach Chuck Hyde’s debut book offers roadmap for executive teams
Executive leadership coach Chuck Hyde of Siloam Springs, founder and principal of C3 Advisors, has written his first book.
In the book, “Seasons in Leadership,” Hyde said he hopes to provoke leadership teams to an intentional assessment of:
- The season they’re in
- What characterizes this season
- What their focus should be
- What message they should be sending and with what tone
- and ultimately, what they need their people to believe.
“Leaders can hold the model up against their current season and apply it in direct and intentional ways,” Hyde said. “To give the model life, we look at stories from history, business case studies and a few from my career.”
Some of the book’s case studies include Walmart Inc., Chick-fil-A Inc., Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy and Soderquist Leadership.
Before founding C3 Advisors, a private consulting practice in Northwest Arkansas focused on executive development and talent optimization, Hyde worked 12 years for Milestone Leadership (formerly Soderquist Leadership) in Siloam Springs. He joined the nonprofit in 2005 and assumed a leadership role in 2008, eventually becoming CEO in 2010.
Hyde, a frequent Northwest Arkansas Business Journal contributor, holds a master’s degree in business administration from John Brown University in Siloam Springs and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
The book is self-published and includes a foreword by Steve Trainor, who has over 25 years of experience in leadership education and development.
It’s available for less than $20 through the C3 Advisors website. Pre-orders can save 20% through Nov. 26 and will be available to ship on Dec. 1.
