RE/MAX affiliate in Bentonville opens commercial division
RE/MAX Real Estate Results, a Northwest Arkansas affiliate of Denver-based real estate franchise company RE/MAX, has launched a commercial real estate division.
Stephen Mansfield is the managing executive broker at RE/MAX Commercial. He will be responsible for all commercial brokerage, property management and other commercial real estate-related transactions throughout Northwest Arkansas.
“I’ve had agents who practiced a little commercial with their residential real estate. Stephen will be focusing solely on commercial real estate and business brokerage,” said Kim Minor, the principal broker and owner of the Bentonville real estate firm. “Stephen has the education and experience that is not common of agents in our area.”
Mansfield has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate field, beginning on Wall Street as a commercial mortgage security trader and real estate investment banker. He was integral in over $4 billion in transactions with many national public and private real estate companies.
In the late ’90s, Mansfield was co-director of the real estate division of Llama Co., a boutique investment bank owned by Alice Walton. He later spearheaded the growth of Mansfield Enterprises, a regional property management and real estate investment company based in Fayetteville.
Minor said that Mansfield is looking to add licensed commercial real estate agents, as well as fill a business broker position with a background in accounting, mergers/acquisitions and/or finance.
