ASBTDC to host classes for business owners throughout NEA in August
There are multiple opportunities for future small business owners in August through the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University.
Several sessions will allow future business owners to meet with an ASBTDC business consultant. The ASBTDC provides one-to-one confidential guidance to business owners and entrepreneurs. Primary areas of assistance include business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion marketing, and profitability.
Landon Carmer of Clarity Summit Consulting will lead an online class, “How to Spot the Ideal Leader: Hiring the Right People for the Team.” This event will be available via zoom on Wednesday (Aug. 2)..
Laura Miller, director of ASBTDC, will lead a class, “Marketing Your Small Business,” on Thursday (Aug. 3). This class will be held at the A-State Delta Center for Economic Development. Miller will also lead a class, “Marketing Your Small Business,” on Friday (Aug. 4). This event will be held in the Adult Education Building at Black River Technical College in Pocahontas.
Robert Bahn, business consultant at ASBTDC, will lead a class “Marketing Your Small Business,” on Aug. 8. This class will be held at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce in Walnut Ridge. Bahn will lead “Marketing Your Small Business,” on Aug. 9. This class will be held at the Osceloa/South Mississippi County Chamber of Commerce in Osceola.
Bahn will lead “Marketing Your Small Business,” on Aug 10. This class will be held at the ASU Newport Sims-Talbot Adult Education Center in Trumann. Miller will lead “Financing Your Small Business,” on Aug 16. This class will be held at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce.
