The Green House Cottages of Northwest Arkansas, a long-term elder care facility, celebrated its grand opening on June 14 with community leaders and members in attendance. Located at 1303 N.E. Legacy Parkway, the facility showcased its state-of-the-art renovations under the Green House Project, an organization that collaborates with senior living providers.

The facility operator is The Green House Cottages of Northwest Arkansas LLC, whose managing member is John Ponthie. He is the managing member of Southern Administrative Services, which has developed multiple Green House facilities throughout Arkansas.

The Bentonville development was formerly the assisted living facility in Legacy Village. It is approximately 4.5 acres with six separate units housing up to 12 residents each. Each home provides residents with a private room that is approximately 300 square feet, including a private bathroom. Each unit also includes a kitchen, dining area, sitting area, beauty parlor, outdoor patio and other common areas. The entire facility is approximately 21,600 square feet.

The developer did not disclose the renovation cost.
