The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce announced three new hires Monday (June 5).

  • Jack Short is the new operations manager. He was previously the existing business and talent development coordinator for the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Emily Cook is a member engagement associate. She previously worked at the University of Arkansas as an assistant director in the office of New Student & Family Programs.
  • Desirae McCutchen is the front desk coordinator. She previously taught 7th grade language arts at Sonora Middle School in Springdale.

The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce represents Bentonville, Bella Vista, Centerton and Pea Ridge. Interim CEO Ashley Wardlow said at last count, the nonprofit had 1,122 members. Among those members, the chamber has increased retention to 90% and grew membership revenue by 5.5% in the past 18 months.

“In the last 18 months, the chamber has grown our membership base, increased member retention, and has begun creating a strategic plan to guide our work leading up to the organization’s 2026 centennial,” Wardlow said. “These three key hires will add to our momentum, and we are delighted to welcome such talented individuals to the team.”
