Rose Law Firm names Bourgon Reynolds managing member in NWA
Little Rock-based Rose Law Firm has promoted Bourgon Reynolds to managing member of the firm’s Northwest Arkansas office in Rogers.
She replaces Rebecca Hurst, who left recently for Conner & Winters.
Reynolds started her career with Rose Law Firm in 2012. In 2015, she joined the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office in the civil litigation department. In 2018, Reynolds returned to Rose Law Firm after relocating to Northwest Arkansas with her family.
“It is an honor to follow in the footsteps of this firm’s great attorneys, including the many influential women who have been instrumental to the firm’s two centuries of success,” Reynolds said in a news release Thursday (May 4).
According to the release, Reynolds concentrates her practice on business, antitrust, and class action litigation, which includes significant litigation experience in the poultry industry concerning output, growers, and employee wages. Reynolds also has experience representing those in the healthcare space, including physicians and other licensed professionals, and handles probate and trust litigation.
“Bourgon is a strategic, decisive, innovative leader and a key contributor to the firm’s recent successes,” said Rose Law Firm managing member David Mitchell. “Her leadership style embodies the firm’s values. I know that our Northwest Arkansas office will continue to grow and advance under her direction.”
Reynolds was named to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 class in 2019 and is a Leadership Arkansas Class XVII member. She is also the firm representative to the Northwest Arkansas Council, a Leadership Benton County alumnus, and chairs Rose Law Firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Reynolds is a board member for Havenwood Inc., a nonprofit based in Bentonville, and a member of the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Founded in 1820 before Arkansas statehood (1836), Rose Law Firm is one of the oldest businesses in Arkansas, the oldest law firm west of the Mississippi River and one of the oldest law firms in the nation.
