New tenant operating event venue in Highfill
Acres on Holland recently became the operator of a more than 50-acre event venue in Highfill formerly known as The Holland Barn.
Rogers native Scotie Hulett is the owner. She spent more than a decade in the film and production industry before returning to Northwest Arkansas and establishing her business.
“My roots are held in Arkansas, though over the last 15 years, I’ve been immersed in the production world touring with WWE, in the production department at Universal Orlando and traveling the United States and internationally, both as a producer/production and locations manager with A+ celebrities and professional athletes,” Hulett said. “Going big and going home became a possibility when this entrepreneurial opportunity landed in my lap — a perfect accident that allows me to bring my larger scale production and coordination experience and excitement to the continued growth of NWA while settling down closer to family.”
According to a news release, Acres on Holland is accepting tours and bookings for events, weddings, festivals and concerts through 2024. The venue includes a 3,800-square-foot barn and one-room chapel on the front 8 acres of the property. Approximately 50 acres are available for larger events or festivals.
The release shows the venue is receiving some cosmetic updates, including additional modern, rustic decor in the bridal suite and loft. Exterior updates, such as landscaping and lighting additions, are expected to be completed by this summer.
Established in 2014, the event venue and property remain owned by Amy and Eric Holland of Highfill. The Holland Barn is no longer an active business. Acres on Holland has no additional employees, but the business has plans to grow. More information is available online at acresonholland.com.
