Chase begins hiring for 2 more NWA branches
The consumer banking division of New York-based JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring to fill positions for its second and third branches that are expected to open this year in Northwest Arkansas. Chase bank recently celebrated the grand opening of its first branch in the region.
The bank renovated a 3,100-square-foot building at 608 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville. The building was formerly the Fayetteville location for Jonesboro-based outdoor specialty retailer Gearhead Outfitters.
“We have a great location right next to the University of Arkansas in a well-established area with great shopping options,” branch manager Rick Delgado said. “This expansion is a chance for us to deepen our Arkansas roots and become part of the local community. Our mission is to help customers live better lives by achieving their financial goals.”
According to a news release, Chase is hiring bankers, business bankers and financial advisers to support its planned branches in the area. Entry-level employees at Arkansas branches start at no less than $20 per hour and receive the company’s full benefits package, including healthcare coverage and retirement savings.
The company plans to open two Northwest Arkansas branches by the end of 2023. One will be in Springdale. Chase started its Arkansas expansion when it opened a Little Rock branch in July 2021. The bank now has five branches in the capital city.
The new Fayetteville branch has 11 employees. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
