Tontitown-based Paschal Air Plumbing & Electric said Friday (Feb. 17) it had completed a deal to acquire Walker Air, Plumbing & Electric in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal expands Paschal’s service territory to Texas. The company also services Arkansas and southwest Missouri with home repair, replacement and maintenance services for HVAC, plumbing and electric customers.

Paschal was founded in Northwest Arkansas in 1968 and has grown significantly in the past year through multiple acquisitions in central Arkansas and southwest Missouri. The Walker deal is Paschal’s fourth acquisition in the past 10 months.

Walker has roughly 90 employees, which pushes Paschal’s workforce to approximately 330.

“We couldn’t be more excited to expand operations and services to the DFW metroplex,” Paschal CEO Charley Boyce said in a statement. “Walker has a great culture and a team of high-caliber technicians and customer service providers. We look forward to expanding and supporting this already successful team with the world-class systems, processes, and customer-first mindset that are the hallmarks of our operations in Arkansas and Missouri.”

Walker is headquartered in Arlington with locations in Dallas, Frisco and Denton. The company has serviced the market for 60 years through the Metro Energy Savers, Big Bear Air Conditioning & Heating and North Texas Heating & Air Conditioning brands.

According to a news release, Coltala Holdings, a holding company based in Dallas, will remain a minority investor in the Dallas entity.

“We have long admired Paschal’s success and market-leading position in Arkansas and Missouri under the stewardship of Charley Boyce,” Coltala co-founder Edward Crawford said in a statement. “He is a third-generation HVAC owner-operator, and we believe he and the broader Paschal team can help turbo-charge growth for the benefit of the company and the community in DFW.

“We are excited to partner with Paschal in Dallas-Fort Worth and believe their approach to Home Services will be a differentiator in the marketplace,” said Coltala co-founder Ralph Manning. “The combination of two best-in-class, purpose-driven companies will result in better customer and employee outcomes.”
