Hytrol Conveyor promotes six in Jonesboro

Hytrol Conveyor Co. announced Thursday (Dec. 1) a change in its leadership structure moving several employees into C-suite positions and promoting others.

The company said the change will open mid- and senior-level leadership positions throughout the company and is meant to recognize the performance of several individuals.

Four vice-presidents will transition into Chief Officer roles, including:

Mitch Smith, Chief Revenue Officer
Bob West, Chief Compliance Officer
Steve Dunlevy, Chief Operating Officer
Orlando Sellers, Chief Technology Officer

Two directors have also been promoted, including:

Melody Playford, Chief Information Officer
Phillip Poston, Chief Development Officer

Daniel McAdoo, Chief Financial Officer, will continue in his same role.

“We want to provide opportunities for advancement,” said Hytrol President David Peacock. “By transitioning to this type of leadership structure, we can focus in on where we need to and be strategic in our growth in these areas.

Jonesboro-based Hytrol, which has operations in Fort Smith, designs and manufactures advanced conveyer systems, controls for processing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution needs. The company has doubled its employee headcount in the past eight years.

Hytrol Conveyor is a 2022 winner of the Northeast Arkansas Talk Business & Politics Outstanding Business of the Year award.
