$100M investment fund targets NWA acquisitions
A real estate investment group has opened its first investment fund with an equity raise goal of $100 million.
Asset management firm InvestNet will target single-family real estate acquisitions in Northwest Arkansas. Nate Nead of Bentonville is the managing member. Stuart Collier of Fayetteville and Jason Powell of Portland, Ore., are the general partners.
“This new fund is part of our ongoing commitment to helping accredited, institutional and qualified investors gain greater exposure to this unique asset class in a historically stable and growing local market,” Nead said in a statement. “We believe these single-family investments potentially can provide strategically diversified downside protection in growing cities within strong working communities.”
Nead moved to Bentonville in 2021 from Seattle. He relocated with a grant from the Life Works Here program, a Northwest Arkansas Council initiative attracting remote workers. A licensed investment banker, Nead also manages several other businesses with workers throughout the U.S.
Collier is the managing broker of real estate brokerage Collier & Associates. The firm has been managing single-family homes since 2015 and currently manages 233 homes with offices in Bentonville, Farmington, Fayetteville and Rogers.
“Our team has a wealth of experience in real estate acquisitions and management, and we’re confident our association with the InvestNet fund could provide a valuable solution as a built-in buyer for a niche class of real estate sellers,” Collier said.
