Connections: NWA Ballet Theatre hires artistic director

The Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theatre (NWABT) board of directors has hired Stephen Wynne as artistic director.
Wynne is an acclaimed international choreographer, former university professor and professional ballet dancer who has previously worked with the U.S. Department of State through the Fulbright Specialist Program to serve other countries in developing cultural amenities and cultural impact.
Wynne recently completed a four-year commission with the dance department at the University of the Arts in Cologne, Germany.
Margie Bordovsky, Mariah Bordovsky, and the late Peggie Wallis founded NWABT in 2011.
